Well the day is almost at an end and I could not be more ready for it.
I heard on the grapevine that there is a problem with the cable between here and the US which is why so many sites are so slow.
Lesson - another day another frustration.

Nicky does not update her blog all that often (actually I don’t know anyone who posts anything like as much as I do, perhaps I should worry) but when she does there is often a flurry of comments.
It makes me wonder how often people check her page each day. I personally briefly check all the blogs I read 5 or so times a day looking for new posts. I would consider this quite sad if I didn’t think that there wasn’t a bunch of other people doing the same.
I would quite like a little email to let me know when blogs have changed. There are services around but they let you know a day later. I want to know now (and I want an oompaloompa)
Lesson for the day - no news is bad news.

“Her boyfriend is Tom but we call him the king of romance” - The Babysitter’s Here - Dar
“I’ve got a left front tyre throwing thread, by tomorrow morning I could be dead, maybe baby you’re been right all along” - Water in the Fuel - Fred Eaglesmith
“After changes upon changes we are more or less the same” - The Boxer - Simon and Garfunkle
Lesson for the day - when all else fails quote someone else.

My interent connection is really slow today and it is driving me quite mental.
Spring seems to be sprung and gone and winter is back again.
Lesson - when all else fails talks about the weather.

I just faxed off the form that I can finally graduate from the Arts Degree I finished in 1992. I might graduate from my Graduate Diploma next year, we’ll see.
Lesson - there’s nothing clever about rushing.

Nothing much to say for myself this morning.
I are horribly tired (no good reason why). Normally walking past the My Mac shop and seeing the iMacs cheers me up but this morning Not So Much.
Lesson for the morning - There are problems you can’t fix with an iMac, but not a lot of them.

I only have another hour and a half left of today and then three days left in the week.
You would think that after this long I would get used to the idea that daylight savings will make me feel pretty awful for a couple of weeks. However it pretty much always catches me by surprise.
A bit like how hot summer is. I was talking to Sarah about the Queenscliff music festival and she mentioned how hot it had been the day we went. It took me a couple of minutes to remember. I don’t think I have ever sweated so much in my life. The heat was just horrible.
But every summer I seem to have forgotten in the winter months.
Lesson for the day - Ani says that goldfish have no memories.

A lot of people go on about queue jumpers trying to get into Australia. Others suggest that there is just no queue for refugees to try and get into Australia legitimately.
However the minister seems to have solved the problem.
Lesson - He would have made a good member of the Kennett Government.
