I was looking for a particular sign-generator and I was checking my blog because I was pretty sure that I’d linked to it at some stage recently. What I found instead was that my entire front page was quick entries via Twitter.
Now I don’t dislike the 140 character limit, I actually find it brings me to the point quickly, but I did think that perhaps I should have an actual blog entry on my blog.
So here it is.
Lesson for the day - sometimes you want a little more than the quickest of sound-bites.

I must admit, I don’t find Twitter at all engaging.

I must say I find it only mildly interesting to read. And even then only when it is people I either know or know of. Mostly I like it as a quick and easy way to say something myself. My blogging ritual has become so involved with photos and pop references and lessons for the day and categories that it’s a big of energy to create even a simple one.
A twitter update however is done in a minute (and it goes on my blog and I feel like I am posting there too)
